Prayers and thoughst of good fortune for our first responders. The recent killings in the Sikh Temple and at the Batman screening remind us to give thanks for these souls. Imagine if you will, when you are running away from a disaster the person passing you going the other way is risking there lives for us. EMS. Police, Firefighters and tow operators are what stops the chaos and help return the situation to normal again. If not for them, who then would save us from ourselves. Keep them in your thoughts and devotions daily. Think of the number of folks who still can due entirely to their bravery and selflessness.

Good thoughts, Bob. They just mentioned on the news that the first cop was shot 9 times, but when the next guys arrived, he told them to go on and help the people inside the temple.

I fought fires for 13 years and I can tell you that you won't find a better bunch of people anywhere than in situations where you need to have each other's back.
