Mounting A Compound

I have an old Ames lathe that I am putting back into use and I was hoping someone out there has an idea on how to mount a compound to a t-slot where the tool holder normally goes. Thanks for the ideas! ~MetalMan1309

On 3-in-1 machines such as those by Smithy, they use T-nuts in the t-slots to attach their compound.

The base of their compound has open slots on either side for a t-bolt to clamp down the base.

I don't recall off the top of my head, as I no longer own a Smithy. Someone will hopefully come along with that information or you could ask in the 3-in-1 sub-forum on here.
