MT4 tooling, question on shelving

I have had fairly decent results using quarter inch fuel line sliced lengthwise

Agree with zjtr10. Have done this in the past using various size tubing of different materials. Secured the split tubing with silicon caulk.

All of my MT3 tools for the tail stock sit in holes in aluminum sheet metal shelves. Not an issue.
