here are a couple of pictures of my Canedy Otto 21" dril press. This origionally came out of the steam plant here in Tacoma Wa. which was built in 1930. I purchaced it from a fellow in Centralia, and when I got it, it had been sitting outside for about 10 years and was siezed up. The motor is a "Century" repulsion start induction motor of 1 hp. Just goes to show what a little T.L.C. can do. Love them belts a slappin!

Awsome Drill Press, I just bought a 1910 (20 inch) Buffalo Camelback I hope mine looks just as good as yours when I get done restoring it, it's amazing to watch them running, why anyone would abandon or destroy such iconic pieces of American Machinery History is beyond me, then again it does take a dedicated group, like the ones on this site to take each of these different machines and restore them to their original condition so that others can really appreciate the for what they really are: "The tools that made America what it really is"

Lawrence.
