My new mill won't start

So I finally got time to hook it up and what do ya know, it doesn't work.

It worked great when I tried it out before I bought it, wired everything up right with a North America static phase converter. It has power where I'd expect it to be as indicated by the red arrows, just when I press the start button nothing happens.

I did wiggle all the wires, and have swapped the manufactured leg to a different wire but still nothing.

Any help would be appreciated....

Contactor, or transformer? Or switch? which one to test first?

No way I'm giving up on this beautiful electrical cabinet, a VFD would be cool but really.

clean the contacts on the switches! my Hardinge TR-59 it started fine, brought it home would not start so I cleaned the contacts on the switches and it started right up.

I would trouble shoot it backwards. Go to the motor terminals and see which legs are NOT getting juice. Then you can focus on which leg is misbehaving (or if it is "general loss of power on all legs). Make sure your ground is good.

This will save you from having to check Everything.

Is the contactor pulling in?

Check to see if the overload relays have tripped.
