Even with the swing arm inside the cover my Clausing had several battle scars on the hydraulic hose to the variable sheave cylinder. Mine has the dual cylinder which is an improvement over the original single piston. I may get a shorter hose to keep the strain off of the outboard bearing. It works great with the only exception I am having is getting the speed control to hold at the very low RPM's. In back gear it will hold no lower than 100rpm and in direct drive about 500rpm. It works great at the higher speeds. And yes I have bled it over and over and over. Is this normal or should I just keep bleeding it? Thanks in advance.
