Need advice on installing belt on 602 EX CELL_O

The last thing I have to do on my 602 1-1/2 HP is install the belt. The machine was in pieces when I purchased it and I didn't see the disassembly. I spent a couple hours today trying to get it onto the motor end with no success. Suggestions anyone?

Did you review the manual, it describes the process for the belt installation on P7.
