Hello,
I scored this small Rohm keyless chuck. 0 - 4mm, 0 - 05/32". The shank is 1/2". I think this is a nice chuck from Germany. I don't think it has ever been used.
The trouble is, it is very hard to tighten and loosen! It takes two men and a small boy to open and close it. I put some Rust Eater in there and then I tried some teflon tri-flow stuff for locks etc.
I thought that if I opened and closed it a few times it would get better and it did a little, but it is still way too hard to turn IMO.
Any ideas? Anyone know how to take one of these apart? And more importantly, put it back together?
Thanks in advance
Dave
