need info?

What can anyone here tell me about a Westbury turret mill?It is advertised as having an R-8 spindle with a 9 x 42 table , running on 220V 3 ph power. Can this be converted to run single Ph or would I need a new supply line or rotary Ph converter? The machine itself looks to be well cared for without actualy having seen it other than in pictures? There is one small indiscretionay mark on the table, but other than that appears to be good. If the general consensus is that it may bear furthur investigation , I will likely make the 7 hour drive to view / purchase and pick it up and bring it home. Thanks in advance for any and all input. PS there is no tooling or vise that comes with it and the asking price is $1500.00 CAD.
