"New" craftsman/atlas lathe

It's got a few decades of crud built up on it. I pulled it out of a shed where it sat unused for many years in the hands of the grandson of the original owner. Came with a folder of the original literature and a copy of the machinist handbook from the 40's

I want to clean it up with a stiff bristle brush and knock all the crud off. Replace the wicks, make sure all the matting surfaces are clean and oiled and the motor has a bent shaft so I need to repair/replace that.

you have an Envirobase High Performance, EHP, paint mix shelf. I will take that as a no, not a user,
Well a long time ago in a galaxy far far away I was a painter. Though I never heard it referred to as "EHP" Just called it "envirobase" or "you know the water based stuff"

I try my best to bury that time in the dark corners of my mind. In the red 3m cabinet on the wall are my spray guns. I sprayed devilbiss tekna for the base coat, had a CVI for sealer but always preferred SATA for clear.
