New Member's Rong Fu RF31 runs hot

I believe this is what you have, if you look at the 230 volt drawing you see one end of the start winding connected at the series connection of the two run windings, that's why the cap is 115V either way. normally you swap 2 and 4 to reverse direction. so by checking continuity you should be able to find the two run windings, and the start winding coming off the cap...
BUT this being ChiNees i could be totally wrong, a meter should tell...

Thank you so much. Your diagram made sense out of the way it was wired when shipped. You have reduced the number of variables in my mind. The resistance in the two run windings are identical at 1.5 ohms. Do you think this is normal, I've never measured one before.
Otherwise, I have a free-spinning motor, wired correctly, that runs really hot.

Just wanted to thank everyone who helped me with this issue. I never found any causation for the hot motor myself. Enco responded very quickly and has sent out a motor for me under warranty. The gentleman who answers the phones for the "machinery dept" said that this is very rare.

Thanks again.
