Well today was a long one, but I am richer now than I was at the start with a Van Norman 12 sitting in my driveway. I know, no original motor and it is missing one of the handwheels, but at $300 up here, I didn't think it was too bad a deal. The first two pictures are of it at the first owners house and the last two are at my house. I am surprised at how fast the ram was able to be removed. I have a 1900s upright drill that was only a little faster to breakdown. I am always amazed at old school engineering. Simple and effective. Anyways, I can't wait to see it working and to be honest, these have a pretty good reputation, even though this is the first time I have ever heard of them.
