New tool

just acquired a Clausing 8520 Mill in very good condition. It came with a nice 4" vise, 6" Rotary table, full set of MT2 collets and and about 40 different sized end mills. The problem was I had to trailer it 1000 miles through Chicago, and Minneapolis to get it home. Talk about a "Road Trip"!! But now it is setup and works great. The one thing I would like to add to it is a base or column extension. I see them on many pictures of this mill. Did it come from the manufacturer with that option? Does anyone have access or know where to acquire one?

Wow! that IS quite a roadtrip. and I thought the 250miles each way I did to get the lathe was far...

Not familular with that mill. a pic would help. But a turret spacer can be fabbed up if ness. Post a pic, so we have a idea of what your working with.
