I found these AXA holders on eBay. They are from a place that takes Asian made Hardinge lathes and converts them to CNC. They all come with this lathe tool holder that they don’t need with CNC.
I got 5 of them because they are very high quality and have other uses beside the lathe tool holder.
lathe tool holder on counter cross or rigid with a riser to get more rigidity. Could have more than one for quick change.
They have a high quality handle that can rotate any angle once held tight
could be an indicator holder on mill or lathe
light holder
part of a setup jig on the mill much quicker than a stack of blocks and the hold down system
as a quick to place vice sizing stop in the mill
I just bought some M10-1.5 bolts the length I needed and they worked great
One of those things here now and never see again situations
NOTE: They are not Aloris brand. Not AXA related. Can be used on a table slot or lathe cross slot. I don’t know why the words Aloris or AXA are in the title. But they are Aloris like quality.
