Nonprotuding handles

Looking at my welding table, I realized that the two square holes I had left for the handles was too high to be ergonomically acceptable.
Also, I wanted something that would be out of the way so as not to impede walking around the table. My solution was to install the
handles lower and have them removable so as not to be in the way. I can leave them as is and simply reverse them as the photos
show or tack on some washers possibly so the handles can slip inwards and become unobtrusive. Maybe I could machine some cool
buttons to weld on the end of the handles. I'm calling them the antiprotrudios just for you Brino.:grin:


I used parts of an old gas shock for the handles and some square scraps to make nice fitting handles. The pipe was fairly thin so resorted to
a bit of gas welding .
