Off Center Turning on Lathe

I wouldn't have thought to shifting a jaw like that. I would be too concerned about the clamping being insufficient and switch to a 4jaw. It obviously worked, so for more artistic items where the exact offset isn't important, it might be a nice trick. Particularly for people with difficult to swap chucks.

Really cool though.

Brass is too expensive for me to flitter it away like that. I have some pigeonholed and will make good use of it when the time comes.
