Original BP M Head 110/220v Troubleshooting

Thanks Mike! Do you happen to know of one like this in 220+ V?
 
The Hobart cap that Mike linked to in post #11 probably has an actual rating that's higher than 110v
Since that is essentially an OEM replacement the printed rating is referring to the appliance operating voltage I think

Thanks Mark. Duh, I could have easily looked up the meat slicer but now I have and while they did make a 220 model the parts manual isn't a quick find. Looks they are still a very popular machine. I expect that's why Mike knows about fixing them.
 
Just out of curiosity what is the diameter and length of the shaft?

3/4" X 2-11/32'" But the bearings are external to the frame so the total length from the face to the end of the shaft is ~ 4-1/4" The external bearings are covered by the pulley cone. IIRC it was the 3/4" shaft that was hard to locate. Per the NEMA chart the 3/4" makes it a pre-1953 specification.
