OT - Cheap LED Bulbs

A week ago I was at the 99 Cents Only store getting my favorite "morning coffee" cookies. I always check the electrical/electronics section and frequently find some really good deals. On this particular day I found LED BR30 (3.75 dia. reflector bulbs), 75 watt equivalent in soft white (2700k). Price check please. I bought 3 at 99 cents each, just to check them out. They are very bright, and while I would prefer something in a 5000k, it's hard to quibble. I went back today for more. While loading my cart, I discovered an even better deal. They have 2-packs of BR40 (5 in., full size reflectors), same specs., and they were 99 cents too! That's right, 50 cents each for LED flood lights. I bought all they had.

Led bulbs are great in a drop light, they don't burn you and are very tough.

It's always puzzled me why it's called a "drop light" when that is the last thing you want to do with it.
