I have the OXA toolpost on my mini lathe.

When I tighten the post to secure the toolholder, all is good.

The lever has a tendency to "open" during use -- the toolholder remains completely secure, but the handle will move around.

Only when opened further will the tool release.

I have tried to find an adjustment, e.g. removing the wedges and reseating them, but can not eliminate this problem.

Is this normal, or is there an adjustment that I haven't identified?

Thanks.

My china made axa also does that a bit, I just tightening it when it happens. I am not sure if there is some adjustment, would need to look closer at it.

My OXA does that, too! I will watch this thread to see if there is a fix suggested.

I just took my 0XA off my lathe the other day. It hasn't come loose but the threads on the wedges feel wonky. I am not far from giving up on it.

Just corresponded with LMS. They confirmed that this is normal function for the OXA.
