Pine Drill Grinder

Hi Mike, here are some pictures. Let me know how it goes on making the tool rest. It appears that this one is not original to the machine, but seems to work well.

Those are great.

How does the drill index on the fixture, a picture of that would be great.

I am not sure how you would measure this, what is the angle away from the stone and in relation to the V?

You mentioned an other part that held up the drill or did I misunderstand that?

Generally your unit looks the same as mine, however there are differences.

I am in the process of rebuilding mine in the spirit of the original but I do use all my equipment so I make improvements (in my eyes) to the original as I go.

Looking at the pictures I noticed an other plate with a couple of holes in it under the drill V laying on the casting. Are there more than one plate that fasten onto the fixture?
