PM 1340GT Motor Stuck

For the first time I tried to change the drive belt from pulley B to pulley A. I loosened the handle and even loosened one of the mounting bolts. I can't lift the motor. I tried using a pry bar with no luck.
Am I missing something? Any suggestions?

Looks to me like your electrical cabling trapped between the headstock and the top of the motor and preventing the motor from elevating. See below. Take off the cable mounting clip and move the wires out of the way to elevate the motor more fully.

Now that's embarrassing! I saw that but didn't think it would interfere, but it did!
I was able to pull the wires toward me and lift the motor.
