When I use the "Insert Link" tool, in the post I see the entered "text" in blue. If I click on the blue text, it opens a new browser tab at the linked URL.

That is all as expected. However, I see other members posting links which display as a "blue box" including descriptive text and showing the www. . . .
How are they achieving that method of posting a link?

I ask because I think the "blue box" is much more clear that it's a hot link.
I suspect that some readers overlook blue text (that may be imbedded in a sentence) and don't recognize that it's a link. Therefore, they don't get the information offered.
I'd like to know how to post a link displaying as a "blue box".

I'm on a PC, W10, Chrome.

Yeah, all you need to do is paste the link and don’t use the insert link tool or at least that’s what works for me

Thanks folks. I guess the advantage of the tool is that links can be imbedded, compactly, in text. Useful if using many links but I'm going to simply paste URLs in the future so the hot links are more prominent.

Admin, please close the ticket at your convenience.

@Braeden P has provided the simplest example. It's probably time for me to create a quick how-to on some of the editing features on the latest software update. Will keep this open for now.
