I found this YouTube video about a add-in that will export everything to Step files. Seems to work well. Edit: Well maybe not
Seems to be not quite working the way he describes and blows up often.

Ok, it works, but it's sensitive to document names. no special chars for example. Also, the menu window was popping up in a tiny box on my second monitor, so I until I spotted it, I had no idea where it was saving the files. So depending on how you named your files, you may need to some work to get them exported. Also, the add-in can't be run unless it's on your C drive, although it's not mentioned.
