Resolved Push Notifications?

At the bottom of my computer screen is a request for permission to enable push notifications. Just what are they?

Push notifications instantly notify you of posts to threads you are following or when someone gives you a ''Like'' It's safe to allow if you want as long as they are from H-M. I find it kind of handy.

Like Jim, I turned my push notifications on and find them to be useful.
