I have a lathe like this one, it was given to me in pieces packed in boxes. This is a 1942 machine. It looks like that all the parts are there except for the tail stock and the drip tray. For the time being I wish to get the measurements of the tray so that I can fabricate one. Can someone help me? Even if someone has a tray for sale please contact me. Please note that Denham and Keighley Lifts lathes have the same models.rebuild4.jpeg

I would carefully inventory the peices.
That is an unusual machine and probably difficult to find parts for.
All though this is the norm for most old equipment.
I like the design of the headstock, it seems like a well designed machine for industry.
I have never seen a thread dial on the chuck side of the Apron, maybe it's just my eyes..

Not likely to help you find parts, but you could learn a lot about your lathe at "lathes.uk", if you know what kind it is.

That would be normal for a gap bed lathe, everything is reversed on the apron.
