I made this wall mount bracket for the Rags in a box a while back. Nothing fancy but it makes them a lot easier to use.

I did something similar with one of my shelves. They are made of MDF and I simply cut a hole in one shelf, then put the box of rags over the hole. Presto!! Don't have a picture currently, and can't get one. Shelf has been removed from the garage and has not yet been put up in the new shop space downstairs. I can definitely see the advantage of your bracket, however. Since the box cannot move around, yours will stay put much better than mine.

I like both ideas. My "Rags in a box" is usually greasy and black on top by the time I get near the end.

My boxes used to look the same way because it takes two hands to get a towel, one to hold the box and one to pull. The wall bracket makes it a one handed operation, just pull the towel out at a angle and it tears off at the perforation. I need to make another one for the my garage.
