O.K. I got me four of those neon lamps and understand the application but, I have another question. Is the wiring the same if the power supply, to the L and N terminals, has an on/off s.p.s.t. or can it be wired to the switch? Thanks

One wire could be connected to the switch, but you would still need the Neutral for the other wire on the lamp.

A switch should only be in the "hot" wire (line).

Yes, the toggle switch is only on the hot wire but, if I add a lamp to show when power is applied do I, connect one conductor of the lamp to the hot side supplying power and, one conductor to the neutral of the power supply itself? Comments

Yes. The Neutral should be common throughout the system, so you can connect it at any convenient location.

O.K. Sounds like a plan. I\ll run a test tonight. Thanks
