Removing Spindle on Logan Powermatic

I have an 11" logan Powermatcic model 111008 with the LOO spindle. Any thing special I should know on removing the spindle? Any tricks on loosening the flat belt or pulling the spindle would be appreciated. And same for the re-install. I can't find anything specific for this on this model on the 'net. For instance, the nut on the back side of the front bearings.... How tight should it be?
