My UPS morphed itself into a very heavy extension cord.
This particular UPS dates back to 1985 and it is very reliable. However, the batteries inside are a consumable item and this was the case this time too.
This seemingly easy and simple task of changing the batteries escalated into fixing a bug in my automatic battery charger and some other unexpected activities.
This was really fun !
