RF 30 dro questions

The scale TRAVEL must always be longer than the axis TRAVEL, If not, you will eventually crash into an end of the scale bracket. Ideally, you MEASURE the travel of your axis, and order the scale LONGER than that distance. If the same size scale as travel, it will be impossible to mount without being able to crash one end or the other. Use darkzero's advice to order the scale travel at least one inch longer than the axis travel. The Chinese sellers will let you change your scale sizing if you do it early enough, before it is boxed up. Extra travel, up to a point, does not cause problems, as long as you have sufficient real estate for mounting them.
