40s-50s DoALL band saw 3 phase, I would prefer to get a rotary phase converter (3-5hp???) Does one of you put these together, or is there a converter available in the price range of a hobby shop? Getting all of my ducks lined up to tell the owner if I'll buy it, he has pressure form other buyer's chomping at him.
Thank you

These are good. Have used a 3 hp and a 5 hp for a few years, both work well.

My DoAll came with a static converter already attached to it by the previous owner. It has worked fine so I just use it that way.

Tom, what length/width blades do you run? This one has 2, I think 126", I'm wondering if the smaller width blades would be able to manage small radius cuts in say 1/4" aluminum. IIRC it will run 1/4 - 3/4 blades.

Mainly run a 1/2" wide 120" blade. I do have a 3/4" blade but I need to machine some new guides for it.
