Sandblasting ??

I have got an old sandblaster but can't figure out what a spherical container is used for.
Look here and you have translation to the right under the menu line !

By any means I'm not en expert but it looks to me like a separator unit just separates dirt and rust for vacuuming and sand for recycling

You mean the vacuuming should be connected to the pipe by the "equator" of the spherical container or ... ?

In fact there IS a pipe for connecting the vacum cleaner in the box itself ... but maybe it's from an elder "configuration" - I don't know.

Hi Keld,
The spherical object goes on the shelf below the sandblaster with the pipe union you show in your hand connected to the top of it. This allows the used sand to be sucked into the cleaner, and the cleaned sand to return to the blast gun. As you said, the vacum is connected to the equator pipe on the sphere.
