Is there any way to customize thread subscriptions ? I find that I am automaticly subscibed to a thread if I reply to it, or start it, but the default notification is "None".That seems to me to defeat the intent of a thread subscription.
Today, I wanted to subscribe to a thread, and when my subscription list came up as a result, I was shocked to see I had 86 subscriptions, and all were set to "None" as notification type. Some were very old, and of course, I had not seen any updates to these threads.

Click the settings button at the top right, then general setting on the left menu bar. There is a section for "Default Thread Subscription Mode:", there are a few options to choose from.

I don't find a "Default Thread Subscription Mode:" option under general settings... Using Win7 Home Premium, IE9.
