Got the itch to run the big Cincinnati. Have a project to make 2 saddle clamps for Monarch 10EE lathes. Some meathead managed to over-tighten to failure. Ok, was fun, took forever. Time for the mill I’ll post finished project soon .

And if you use enough cutting oil you can get smoke in your eyes from both.

It doesn’t take much oil to generate a bunch of smoke. You just have to choose the stuff that smells best ! I like rapid tap on steel and tap Magic aluminum. Like incense for the machinist.

Here it is with the bolt as a set. Just need to make the hardened washer and blue it and the bolt head
