It was the long way around to get this posted, jeez, I shoulda been born 40 years later. Been some remodeling since this was taken. Maybe administration can convert it to a compatible file/format, above my qualifications.

It says I need access. Did you save that pic to your computer file? As a JPEG?

No, that's the problem, I can't get it converted. It's a video off of another device sent to me. I'll keep trying.
 
There's 2 "pic" icons at the top of your frame. If it's an acceptable format, that second one should post the video.
 
If it is a mechanical clutch ,I think a elctro-magnet ,such as a magnetic door lock could work.
If it is a hydraulic clutch, could you get a line-lock to work?

Hi, member snoopdog devised a working, foolproof pedal release using a solenoid.
