Building the Steven's Favorite Photo Montage

I decided to get creative and put together a photo montage on building my Steven's Favorite. It's a three part playlist but I'm not sure how to make the playlist work here, so I'll just list them separately. Best of all, they are commercial free!

That is very nice. Thanks for posting.

That is some awesome work Sir! If I was as good at machining as you are and had time, I'd love to build one and engrave it. Thanks for sharing the video's.

Thanks guys.

Yes Duane, time is always an issue as in there is never enough of it.

Just exceptionally fine work!

What I have seen so far is extremely nice work. Will you be sharing the rest of the build with us? Barrel work, forestock and all? Will you be color case hardening the parts or just bluing them? Will you be using a nice traditional oil finish or a semi gloss or flat poly finish? I'm a big gun nut so I can really appreciate this piece thoroughly

Thanks Tom.

I will be adding to the Steven's build thread as the project continues. I have most of the set-up made to drill the barrel and that's what I'll be tackling next. Once that is done, I can do the external shaping of the barrel and it will actually start looking like a rifle. Everything I've made so far has been out of O1, and that will be hardened and blued. The receiver is low carbon steel and will be color case hardened. The forend will be made after the external shaping of the barrel is complete.
