Owning 2 surface grinders it makes me cringe to hear them call it a surface grinding attachment.
I guess it could hold a closer tolerance than you could do by hand.
But surface grinders hold tolerances in the ten thousandths.
A friend of mine was considering one of those attachments and it was $1200.00....I paid $600.00 for a K.O. lee surface grinder that does a nice job. But then you can't store it in a drawer when you're done with it for the day either.
