Not meant to take the thread off topic, but I have noticed that "the next smaller size" of bin washer will fit a given bolt size almost perfectly. As an example, the 5/16 washers from Menard's, Tractor Supply and Ace fit the 3/8 bolts perfectly. Same for all the other sizes I have had occasion to use. Have not been able to figure out why.
