Technology hampering Children's ability to hold pencils/pens

My 4 year old apparently didn't get the memo. When we go for a walk I have to make sure he gets hold of at least two fingers. Just one and he might pull it right off my hand. He's a strong little guy.

Of course he does have blocks, Lincoln Logs, Tinker Toys and Legos courtesy of his Grandpa.

The teenager is a pretty smart kid too despite my having to pry him away from his phone to find that out. His pencil holding skills seem adequate to me. I've even seen him operate a pen once or twice. :)

Pretty soon the kids will just be huge brains with very tiny appendages, while the old guys who operate machine tools will go the opposite direction
;)

Maybe we've been wrong about UFOs, they aren't spaceships they are time machines.
