This Youtuber has some creative talent for sure-lathe accessories

Definitely thinking outside the box.

Did you see his polygonal turning setup? Wow!

And to think that my uncle made all kind of ornamental metal work just on his bench… some molds and everything was bent by hand... I remember seeing him bending bars like they guy did on the lathe, but doing so on the bench with the mold and just a long handle with tabs...

I need to find some photos to share…

EDIT: Found one, but only of some guitars he made for a hotel. These were Christmas decorations. He would make guitars, congas, maracas, güiro, poinsettias, etc. The big ones were made out of 1"x1" tubes, small ones out of 3/16x1/2" flat stock and 1/4" rods for the strings... This was just a side gig as his main income was from doing all kind of iron/welding work...

That is Uncle Ruben in the photo with 5 of my siblings...

Can't believe that I never took photos of him in his shop... he would wake me up at 3-4 am to go to work with him and help him with some jobs... I miss him... he was the one that got me my first lessons on arc welding. Oh, and using a slice of a potato on my eyes to ease the burning :D ... what a dumbass I was. (was???)
