I made DRO for my tailstock using a cheap DRO scale. It took me two tries on the scale mount, the first one was in the way of cross slide. Anyway, I learned a lot on this project. Here are the photos that I do have. I keep forgetting to take photos until I'm done or almost done.
I made some arbors for the rotary table to line up the ram mount.
The pucks have a 1/4" shoulder on them so I can use my 1/4" parallels as a spacer.
I didn't really know what I was doing at this point, I did get it finished and it looks pretty good. But I went about it the hard way. With some help on this site the next time will be much better.
I still need to pick up a set screw, but it works as it is.
