Can someone please tell me what size and pitch threads they found inside the column? I'm going to pick up a used, new-to-me, RF30 clone and would like to have the proper bolts in hand, in case the column has these holes, to make it easier to lift into the truck. Thanks, Tony

Mine doesn't have any such threads but moves quite easily with a lifting sling around the head. I've lifted it a few times like this.

Mine has a metal belt cover, lifting sling around the botom and engine hoist to lift, had to remove the switch to keep from bending it but otherwise just needed to lock the head on the column and lift away.

Moving RF 30

Interested in experiences using an engine hoist and straps to go from a stand to pickup truck bed and back to stand. Best ways to strap, transport, any tips from those who have BTDT. Thanks, John

I don't know what the thread is (metric) but I just used two bolts that were already on the machine. I think they were holding on the belt guard.
