To any PM–949TV owners:

I’m looking to purchase a PM-949TV very soon, I do have a question the manual shows its height is 77". The Lagun mill at work also has a 9 x 49 table and it towers over me (I'm 6'1") like a turquoise monolith.

Am I missing something, or is Precision Matthews 949 Mill a Shorty?

If you read the fine print to the left of the dimensions -> Overall height: Add approximately 10 in. for 3-phase motor, 13 in. for 1-phase motor. So 949TV would be 87" or 90" overall. I have used Lagun mills, and they were quite a bit taller and beefier. I run an an Acra LCM-42 which is the same mill as the Sharp LMV-42 , and it was quite a bit smaller than the Lagun mills.
