Yes, it is. But it shouldn't paralyze us to inaction, as it does me sometimes. Overthinking and indecisiveness can kill progress. But you know I had to check it before installing it lol
Maybe I'll run a rosebud over it while clamped. That would beat having to remove it after putting it on and finding it cracked. At least I could reweld it if I crack it while clamped.
I would just bolt it up, and tighten them down a turn at a time down the line pulling the short ones in the same way once the longer ones are seated with a good copper gasket and go out and have some fun. You could go the rosebud route, but I don't think you need to. Mike
