Triple"B"S Knife Lock Patent No. US 10,981,283. Complete 3D Animation Video of how it operates, and Part 1 of the complete series to build this folding knife.
I wanted something different than the standard Frame Lock or Liner Lock folding knife designs, so I created this new Triple"B"S knife lock to add variety to the folding knife locking mechanisms available today. This video walks through taking my prototype knife and digitizing it into Fusion 360. Cleaning up the design and getting it ready to CAM and manufacture, then machining the mechanical elements of the blade and the complete right handle slab.
The blade is CPM154 Stainless and the Handle Slabs are 6AL4V Grade 5 Titanium. The Triple"B"S Lock Mechanism - short for Bud Beets Ball Slide - is my own patented design.
