So I was putting paint stripper on my lathe and decided to put it on then use a rubber glove to spread it around... turns out that paint stripper eats rubber gloves so I got that stuff all over my hands! Washed it off as quick as I could shouldn’t do anything bad.

You need chemical gloves for that stuff. Should be some at the hardware store.

Yea, I've done that. That stuff burns on the wrists. Be careful, it's nasty stuff.

You really need to make sure you have ventilation and I'd wear a respirator too. The fumes are just as nasty. It's why I used a needle scaler to knock off the paint on my antique press. There was no dust, it was all flakes which I'm sure had lead in them, but at least it wasn't fine dust. And of course I wore a good dust mask.

I have a lady friend who managed to get her hair into paint remover while stripping an airplane. Her new, much shorter, do was impressive!

Sounds like you have the GOOD striper. Can't buy that here. The environmentalists put the kibosh to that.
