I bought some boxes of tooling at a local auction. One box was described as taps but most of the contents was small boxes with Vargus Vardex threader jaws. They all appear to be new in box. The box I have here at my desk is marked D-1 " 1/4x28 cmfr 33 deg hook 10 deg # 334568. There is 4 jaws in each box. What holder holds these threaders. Are these tools still available. As I am a farmer and primarily do repair work . Are these a tool that I would fine useful or are they a production tool? Thanks for your help ted

Your right that's what they are. There are 16 of them and some are unused and some are used. They cover sizes from 1/4 in to 3/4 inch. Looking at your ebay attachment I would guess used ones are worth 20.00 a set . What would you think the new in box sets are worth?

The original link I posted was for a 9/16 die head, the ones you have are for a 1" die head. Looks like they can run $130-210 new. You should be able to get at least half that. Being less common than the 5/16 and 9/16 heads, don't set the opening bid too low, there may be only one interested buyer.

I'd search eBay for chasers similar to yours that have already sold to see what they're going for. You may be able to buy some tooling you've always wanted.
