I may have been premature in posting my clamp since I am not sure it will work as intended. I guess we will try and see if I need to post a redesign!

It will mount as press fit on the two carrier bars.
I am trying to decide how to lock the stop bar in place within this block. I am planning on 1/4" bar. I can use a thumb screw but I don't have much aluminum to make a thread in. I am considering a split cotter? I have never done one before. Any thoughts on this?
I reamed the holes in the outboard block .2490 and press fit the bars. The bars measure about .2505 so I have .0015 interference. I hope they will not move.
Locks up nicely. So far so good.

This works great! I will get a lot up use out of this. I can cut down the lever screws later.
Interesting that I ended up with 3 different clamping mechanisms. The proximal screw bears directly on the shaft. The next screw is a squeeze clamp and the last lock is a split cotter. I did not intend this, just how it worked out due to the geometry.
