Hi,
So did anyone on here end up buying the VN22 accessories from this auction?

It was a pretty nice set of stuff, but got too expensive!

I was wondering if anyone owns a VN22L compatible boring and drilling adapter? There was one in that auction (tucked away in the tool
cabinet I see from the pictures). I was wondering if someone has one and could describe the assembly a bit? Does it have a splined shaft
that is a close sliding fit to the drive sleeve (which might be NMTB50).

I have a slotter head and arbor supports and an outer brace, but that's it for accessories so far.

That is a good size collection of parts & accessories.

What did it go for?

I would love to get a drilling adapter.

it was at least $3000 when I couldn't stand to watch anymore!

The mill itself (sitting next to it) went for somewhere around $2000.

Yea, That is about what I was thinking. That dividing head looks to have the main parts in the second cabinet, and the gears in the wood box. looks like two right angle heads, one could be the high speed right angle, and the other the drilling adapter.

Yes, a very nice set of stuff: though, I hoped it didn't cost so much. I have the parts & will be documenting them all in the following months. The Arbor & Front Support topics are the 1st results of receiving this lot.

So, who won the mill? That is my biggest question!

pjb,
You've asked: "if anyone owns a VN22L compatible boring and drilling adapter? ... I was wondering if someone has one and could describe the assembly a bit? Does it have a splined shaft that is a close sliding fit to the drive sleeve (which might be NMTB50)."

I have one for my VN22LU and I even know where it is! In fact, I will need to move it in order to take the measurements for which Brockwood has been patiently waiting. pjb are you just looking for close up pics or would something more be helpful?

Hi,
I was considering trying to make one at some point, but curious really how the sliding portion functioned and whether the concentricity of the quill depends on a very close fitting splined shaft through a NMTB50 drive sleeve?
A few pictures at some point would be super helpful.
Thanks
Phil

So that is the piece which should bolt onto the back of the cutterhead in place of the existing cap, and the shaft should fit down through the spindle and be driven by a NMTB50-tapered sleeve? And if you turn the red crank handle the shaft should move up/down by the quill travel distance?

I was expecting the shaft through the spindle to have a spline or something so it would be driven? hmm.

thanks!

Given the manual advancement, does this qualify as "sensitive drill"?
