That is a great looking steam engine and super nice machining. I have been slowly collecting the materials to make one so your project has inspired me to complete it.
You got to be proud. Bob

Dennis,
beautiful engine. Did you purchase the castings or did you make them out of new stock. Also where did you get the plans.

I purchased the flywheel casting from Martin Model & Pattern and all other parts are made from bar, flat stock etc. The engine is designed by Scott Labombard (A1 Machining and Tooling)

Excellent construction and finish, and it runs nicely too. Beam engines have always been one of my favorites.

Dennis, That looks great, I have been looking for a place I can order the plans from but have not found them any ideas. It looks like it would be a fun build.

I would like to get a copy of the plans as well, if you find out where.

I don't know if the plans are still for sale.

I have Googled both "Scott Labombard" & "A1 Machining and Tooling." Can't seem to find either in relations to the plans for this engine. Are they for sale or otherwise available anywhere?

Thanks.

BTW, beautiful work!

Dennis,
"because I don't know if the plans are still available."
What difference would that make, showing pics of it or a video of it running is not any copyright infringment.?
